mass email problem

have cdosys and my outgoing server name setup i.e. mail.whateversite.net

go to send mass email and get:

error '8004020f'

/forum/admin/functions/functions_send_mail.asp, line 138

i do get the emails that are on my account, but no one outside of it gets it.  does this mean i gotta use my own stmp servers address?

all other email functions on the forum work fine.

Check with your web host as they may have a baulk email policy that prevents you from sending bulk email thorugh there servers, or the server maybe setup to only relay to local email addresses.

Having a Mass Mail issue that I have not been able to locate on the forum.  Using a WIN2000 Server with CDONTS, with a valid SMTP server configured.  Here is the error that I get:

 
 

Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a03f4'

Expected 'If'

Sounds like a corrupted file, try reuploading
