I dont like firefox. I dont see a single point what makes fire fox better than IE/Netscape. Ok, I see there are alot of differences in IE and FireFox, but what's different in FireFox and Netscape? I once faced an error in FireFox it had soemthing like "Navigator is going to close now". Are they using Netscap's code?

Firefox is better than IE in allot of ways, for a start it is much
faster, better security, follows the W3C standards better, etc.
Mozilla Firefox doesn't use Netscapes code, Netscape use Mozilla's code for there browser.
Netscape 7.2 code base uses an older version of Mozilla from www.mozilla.org

I found Firefox to be that bit slower than IE (apparently this is
because the rendering engine (Gecko?) follows the W3C standards, there
are more definitions than there is in IE).
But the new version of Firefox (1.0.1) seems to be a little buggy and slow (applicationwise, not website rendering).
But in fairness, Firefox is a better browser by far. Try it for a week
and you will see. I didn't like it at first, till I used it for a week,
now it's all I use unless I have to use IE.

ive been using firefox for quite a while now.
as some say i didn't like it at first but think its great.
i only use IE to see what the site looks like because i use Firefox as my creation browser (when creatng i preview in firefox).
do the quick once through in IE just to make sure.

I played around with the 0.8 builds and didn't like them, but when 1.0 rolled around, it became worth switching.
The earlier versions kept crashing, which is why I didn't use them beyond tesing the waters.
To put it another way, MS declared it would stop development on IE, and
recently announced IE 7 will be coming out. You know why.
Until IE 7 comes out, FireFox is the best browser available.
I've loved Opera's mouse gestures for years, but Opera never seemed to
make it to the level of usability that IE or FireFox has. It now looks
like Opera is switching their strategy to focus on mobile and embedded
applications. We'll see what happens...

Gah! I found Opera horrible to use! Seemed a little OTT to me and the ads are just annoying.
