How do i delete threads? therough the admin side i deleted all the topics but the threads remain in the DB

(30,000 posts - 100 topics - those topics only have on average 2-5 replies in them?)

Also checked the DB...they are still there even though the topic was deleted?

it's a busy site (2000-6000 page hits an hour - not just the forum) and my site was running on a 78 meg Access file... it's down to a 48 meg file, but that should probably be around 25....

yeah i know sql would be ideal but it's not available at this time.

The access database is a relational database so unless you have changed the database structure it would be impossible to delete the topic subjects without first deleting the the threads, if you tried you would get an error returned by the database.

then i downloaded the DB, and ran compact and repair through access and re-uploaded.. please look at : http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums
