When I play DVD's on my computer, the sound seems to 'jump' a little every second, but only a tiny weeny little bit.

It's not my headphones or speakers, those are fine.  Just wondering if anyony can diagnose the problem with my crap description!

Do I need a better soundcard?  I'm using the onboard one I got on my reasonably cheapo motherboard.

Not sure if this is related.  I got some proccess explorer software, it's saying im getting hardware interupts (at about the same frequency as the stuttering as far as I can tell) that use 3% of my CPU's power.  Could this be doing it?
