First, my apologies for being far too buzy and lazy to use WWG forums. I just don't have the time to do all the coding necessary to integrate WWF into DNN (the panasonicsucks.org site runs DotNetNuke 3 which is in ASP.NET and requires some very specific integration steps not easily done).

That being said, I threw up some quick forums at PanasonicSucks.org for general complaining about crummy vendors, not just Panassuckit.

You have my most cordial invitation to post horror stories and complaints. There's no censorship (within reason) and I don't really care about profanity there either.

Ahhaha -- That is great. I copy/pasted an article from my own forum about a Panasonic ordeal to yours.

Excellent! That was a really thorough article!  Parts were quite humorous.

I've got a couple more hardware horror stories to post - just lacking time at the moment... But I'm almost done the next version of Guitar and Drum Trainer, so that will be nice to get out.

Time... time... time...

Anyone else got a gripe they want to air?

Ah... yes... I'm not too happy about that.

Here's the story -

I asked Jaebeom to help out with a chicken wallpaper for 2005 - the year of the chicken (rooster or whatever). He went NUTS and did all 12 animals of the Chinese zodiac and an extra wallpaper with all 12 animals in it. Fine. But now I've got to try to promote them... and it's 14 + 6 packages - only the 14 need to be promoted, the other 6 don't need promotion. That takes time - a LOT of time. I'm still doing it. I'd estimate that I'm about 25% of the way through my list. I've been cutting corners everywhere I can even. I started a couple days after the Chinese New Year.

So, I had to tell Jaebeom that I can't use a St. Paddy's day wallpaper because I can't promote it even. And I don't think I'll be able to get an Easter one done either. Which really stinks because I really wanted to get those done.

The avatars come from the wallpapers or other resources. I've been thinking about coming up with a forum package of avatars, 100x100, 64x64, etc. I'm just too busy at the moment. Hopefully I'll be able to get a set or 2 done sometime in May. (If anyone is interested, let me know and I may be able to push that priority up the ladder.)

But, on the good side, I'm also splitting promotion time with some new applications that should be out very soon. ALSee, ALPass and ALFTP are almost done, and ALZip v6.03 is almost done.

So, in closing, ALTools kick and Pansonic Sucks~

Add a cute fluffy tail to the "Year of the Rabbit" and a few colored eggs, and you have your Easter Egghead!

It doesn't have anything to do with creating them - that's the fast part. Jaebeom is simply amazing. Jinsun too. (Jaebeom is the team leader for the design team - Jinsun is one of the designers - she did the Christmas set.) Our design team at work is simply fantastic. They're also very fast. I could get an Easter set no problem. (You've got me reconsidering it now Tongue - I really want to get 1 out.)

The problem is that I've got a backlog of about 2~3 months of work (conservatively) on my plate right now, which puts me behind the deadline for promoting an Easter set, which was 3 weeks ago. The distribution packages are pretty quick. Takes me about a day to create a package, web pages, and related materials for them. I've pretty much got it templated.
