I was wondering if there is a way I can moderate new user registrations?  I would like to see and read about a user before allowing them to be registered.  Is this possible?

You could always have the newbie group as not having permission to post in the forum, then manually, when you are satisfied abut the user, move them to a user group that is allowed to post in forums.
