hi guyz i was wondering
 
if you want to check that a users account is older than 5days b4 posting how do u go about it?

you would have to do a check on post_message.asp

if strRegisteredDate < DateAdd("d", -5, NOW()) then

set the error message to not posted. and then set a veriable to say why.

the above is functional, but is an example

try using date() instead of now()... it shouldn't make a difference, but stranger things have happened

but this is what i used
 
DateDiff("d", strRegisteredDate, Date)
 
so i now check whether the result is greater than 5 and it's working perfectly
