hi all

i have a table in a MSSQL DB, that i would like to import data from an excel doc.

there is an indetity column, which i hope will incerment properly.

how can i do this?

Well if you have MS Access its real simple.

Import the data into Access and then provided you have your DSN set up, use Access to export the data to your SQL server database. Smile

thanks, but i dont have DSN - SQL is on a remote server.

update: i managed to do this thru the DTS import/export wizard.
