I donīt understand why a hidden Forum still are visible to all users. You canīt access the Forum but you can still see the category.

Why??

Category's are allway visable.

So if you have one "hidden" forum in the category you will see a empty category.

The Forum isn't visable.

Look at the code in default.asp there you see why!

To hide the cat. you have to count the forums first and if <> 0 write the cat and the access the database again to show the forums, makes it to slow.

Ok!

But couldnīt this be a alternative in the forum admin? You can choose to hide the Forum but also to hide the entire Category.

you can mad a mod for it yourself, i don't think a lot of people want it that way,

And i belive not every option shut be in the forum, let i be fast and save anf give the user the option to customize it.

I use blank spaces to hide the category.
