downloaded the Security Auditor CD-ROM from www.remote-exploit.org formerly released by Moser Informatik (www.moser-informatik.ch), and playing around with it since yesterday.. lots of fun.. my first long term experience with linux (knoppix flavour). Not so impressed with the OS capabilities tho.. its runs very slowwwwww ..even though i have a fairly fast computer..
specs:
Intel Socket T - 2.8GHz HT CPU (2MB L3 Cache i think)
1GB RAM
2x80 GB SATA Hard drives
but its packed with lot of cool tool..and stuff..
i am posting this from the Konqueror brower of Knoppix OS
It is supposed to run from a CD-ROM like the Knoppix does, but i just mounted the downloaded image into MS Virtual PC and im doin fine. Speed is better when compared to running of the CD-ROM. Maybe i will isntall it and then see some gain in performance.. right now it feels like running windows XP on pentium 3-600Mhz
