I have an issue with the insert special characters tool.

When i insert a special character for example é and i save it it works perfect. But when i want to edit the page with the é again then the é has changed in é .
 
Can anyone help me with this problem please

It could be a problem with your browsers page encoding.

Maybe try setting the page enconding in the head of page.

In the heading of the RTE editor is the file:
browser_page_encoding_inc.asp
 
And this file is set to iso-8859-1
 
I don,t know what other setting i should use
 
Mayby any sugestions

i tried every possible setting, it doesn,y make any difference.
Does anyone have an other solution pleasssssssssssssssssss
