ASP and asp.dll

   I am looking for some info (book, FAQ, pdf, site) on the asp.dll file..  like what it does, what it can do, and how to make it do it.

Also, to get an asp app to use a dll file wouldn't you have to have the asp run as an application, which is set in the IIS manager?  And, if so, what would be the pro's and con's of doing something like that?

AND, in asp.net you can have [TOKENS] to designate where something goes like in a template, can the same thing be done with asp?
