Cookie problem

Hi
 
I have what seems to be a cookie problem. I signed up today on this forum. Received login information - login ok.
 
Came back later - tried to login. The forum reports someting like:
 
'you may have a cookie problem'. I deleted the cookies in my browser - and now it works as you can see.
 
Unfortunately I did not same my cookie for investigation.
 
Though i would let you know.
 
BTW Great product - I'm on 7.9x (slightly modded forum)

If you are using IE then it is common that the cookie index in that browser does get corrupted. Hopefully IE may sort this out for version IE7.

As this is a common issue with cookies in IE I have been working on a new system for version 8 which will mean that you do not need cookies in order to use the forum.
