I don'tknow if this question is silly but i like you guys to clear me out.
 what is the defferent between chilisoft Asp and Asp?
 
Why i ask i went to a hosting company to host my website and i see that the only support chilisoft Asp and Php. So i want to know if chilisoft Asp and ASP is it the same thing?

ASP is an invention of Microsoft. Chilisoft ASP is an emulator which allows you to run ASP pages on non-Windows Web Servers like Apache. I have not looked at it in a long time but it used to be not as compatible with asp so running more complex asp apps like this forum was a problem.

I understood you it means is not a good ideal to run my asp website on there server.

Chili soft usually runs basic asp code with only a few tweaks needed but the problem is that most asp applications will use other components that are unique to MS systems like email components, MDAC, etc.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
