Because many still are not keen to the term PodCast or PodCasting, I thought I would do my part as a podcaster and enlighten everyone to this technology.

iPod Needed? - PodCast Misconception

After many inquiries and questions regarding how to listen to a podcast I thought I would let all my friends know the real deal.

So what is a podcast?

podcast: a digital recording of a radio broadcast or similar program, made available on the Internet for downloading to a personal audio player.

Many think that because it's called PODcast that you in fact need an IPOD! This is simply not true and the term podcast was just a coined term that became of the media because in the beginning it was a community developed by Apple and iPod users. In fact a podcast is nothing different from any other .mp3 file that I'm sure all of you have at one point and time downloaded from the internet via a file sharing or P2P site or program. So hope this clears up the issue and explains that NO IPOD IS NEEDED!

and in the article they said the  "pod" part doesnt acctually come from ipod,
i forgot wot it stood for now, but the article said that Creative was pointless namin it zencast cose the "pod" part wasnt connected to apple Confused

ive never acctually used a podcast (or zencast) is it just an mp3 of someone talking? or is there more to it?

Podcasts are usually just talking although sometimes they have music.

If it is a legal podcast with popular music only 30seconds worth is allowed to be placed in the podcast.

"Podcast" was actually coined by journalist Ben Hammersly in 2004. It combines the term "broadcast" and "iPod". You can read more about it at the Wiki and the article which talks about it officially being recognized in the New Oxford American Dictionary.

Nice. I like that.
And like your shows.

Now to my question.
Is there any program that you know, in order making podcasting for 2 or more pepole, on the network?
It is a good way making interviews, ans podcasting them.
I tried the "audacity" but it has no network support.

Do you mean two people like on a local network? Many out there now use Skype to podcast with someone in a different location. There are many methods to doing it. Below are some examples.
