Forum runs very slow. Not all of the forum loads. Takes forever to go between pages. Everything worked fine for the first week online.

All other links on intranet are fast and I am using asp pages.

any help is appreciated.

If you got a busy forum on an access db as your db grows the forum gets slower.........all you can do is make the db smaller by deleting old posts of upgrade to an MS SQL db....

vicman, you don't say

1) whether you are using 6.xx or the v7.xx which don't forget is a beta and therefore should not be used on a live system. 
2) how many posts / Users are we talking about for the Forum?
3) What Access version are you using and whether you have tried compacting?

Meantime, as it is an intranet and assuming you have access to the server running IIS, have you tried a reboot and if so does it make any difference? 

To help further we need more info

I am running version 6.34

there are only 2 posts and only 29 people have registered so far. There will be only about 200.

I am using access2000 and I have tried compacting the database.

I tried rebooting the server, it did not help.

any help would be appreciated.

What kind of server are u running it on as far as CPU speed and OS?

My dev. server is a Cyrix 600Mhz with over 300Mb of mem and it tends to run ASP slow but then agian its only my dev. server. My live server is a dual 800 PIII with 1Gb if mem.

That could be your problem, it's a slow server, if it is running all ASP pages slow.
