Where do I edit the forum codes that appear when someone puts in for example the quote tag?

As I saw on another forum {php based} that they had added to them for things like 'aferthought' and added a nice little image with a question mark and this was done just like a quote but people could put [after] [/after] etc..etc.. and also they did a [RANT] one which I thought was really cool Wink

that would be:

functions/edit_post.asp (or simular) and just clone the [ code ] [/ code ] one

the file "forum_codes.asp" (i think its in the forum root folder)

and that should be it - though am not 100%

If you look in the file: forum/includes/emoticons_inc.asp.......

..........you will find that all of the emoticons have a 'Forum code' that will produce the emoticon if typed in. These Forum codes can, I believe, be edited to suit.

For instance, the code (:p) but using [] brackets =

this isnt about the Emoticons, but about the forum codes like quote

you would edit the forum/includes/emoticons_inc.asp file if you wanted to add more smileys
