hey, i am wondering if i have some asp and i wanna color code it or somthing i was wondering how i would go about doing that...

I was thinking that i could use the replace() function... but how would i stop the color coding... i mean i couldnt like replace all the breaks and stufff cuz that wouldnt be proper html.... i dunno... just wondering about this... or better yet, if anyone has done this b4 can you give me a link

sounds like your trying to get a script that does santax coding. ive been trying to find something like this for a long time myself.

There are a lot of syntax files for different text editors. I suppose you could come up with a script to color code code using one of those. Would mean a lot of reg. exp. stuff though. Not too tough. Just a lot of work.

yea... i was kinda looking for a dreamweaver style syntax highlighter...

I was just wondering if there was any out there, cuz i might start coding one as soon as i get my head out of my ass.

oh btw i was away for a bit that is why there is such long spaces between my posts... lol

but i wanted to make a mod to color code asp and stuff that kinda looks like the quote tag, except it is asp code or html or other stuff...
I was just thinking this would be a great mod.
