Is it normal that when I changed my e-mail address and added my website to my Profile that I have to re-activate my account. As soon as I changed these things in my Profile I could no longer use the Forum under my account. I received an e-mail saying (note that I have not changed the Username and Password lines - there were like than in the e-mail) :

If you re-entered the password on the profile even if it is the same password you had before the forum sees it as if you changed the password, next time you change the profile leave the password blank unless you want to change it.

I did not change my password!
Why does it send me an e-mail, and why do it not include my Username and Password in the e-mail?

Same thing happened to me here. Received the exact some email and I didn't touch my password.
I reported it when V7 first came out, but haven't heard anything back..
Cheers, A

Very strange that nothing has been said about what we have pointed out.

If email activation is enabled and you change your email address then you will have to reactivate your account, the same was true of version 6. This means that your profile always contains your real email address.

I didn't touch my email address / password or anything except maybe the time offset and any other new options available from the profile in version 7.
See my post here: http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=25&PN=19
I received the exact same email listed above..
Cheers, Andrew

If you signed up using the old forum it used a different way to store the email address, so the two would be seen as not matching. Now that you have done this using the present forum system it won't do it again unless you change your email address.
