Topic: Activation section problem Posted: 18 August 2009 at 2:20pm |
Hello everyone, I am a bit down the permisions, I ga next Thursday to do maintenance on my forum and want to ensure that new members only the activation part, and also topics to post / respond if they are not activated it, the admins do. I've just been very often test with a test account that I supposedly not active but I always get a report of your account must be activated by an admin. If nobody can log in to the management. How do I fix this? I have the right forum often checked and adjusted, but unfortunately..
I have a test account, I give the same username and password then you saying it is english so find a section called 'Account Activeren'
Username: Test 2 Password: j785l_23
Thanks,
slytherin78

New members - if you choose slytherin new members can only access the topics that you specify by you choosing this option in your admin area which if snul means new member you have already done that

Sorry - reading back again, you have email activation set on dont you? I would disable this so users can register, but when they have, they sit in the Account Activeren' part until you, or moderators change their permissions

Can I look at this tomorrow for you slytherin? I have been so busy today but what you need to do, is to create or edit the new user group, so they can only access that particular forum Then switch off admin activation so members can register, but only then post in a forum you choose, until you then change their permissions or member title

What you said I have all this test but this did not work even if your account is inactive so you are just registered it is not possible items you are stopped by the security forum so rights, thus unfortunately can not do than in the html codes are adjusted in the menu helmet? If you want to look like.
Thanks for the help!

I just what are testing my account activation system is deffect, I have just the activations as put in the administrator panel members need to do this I created a test account and received first image of your activation code is sent, if I the option to send activation code click I get an error. Maybe MrTWS here can look at something because it does not account activations part I agree.
Thanks for the effort.
