Topic: Question: FAST server - HTML only Posted: 21 January 2004 at 9:16am |
I'm looking for a FAST server that is cheap. I only need HTML for it. Nothing else. Well, I need weblogs as well of course, but only logs and html functionality. Speed is KING in this case.
Any recommendations?

Maybe you should try a home account that only supports HTML and then buy extra bandwidth.

Thanks for the recommendations. But I forgot to mention one thing - What I want it for is to host files: graphics and downloads. So I'd really like to find one that is fast and has unlimited bandwidth. That way I can use something like JodoHost for functionality, etc., and not chew through the limited bandwidth really quickly.
So the criterion are:
1) Fast 2) Cheap 3) Unlimited bandwidth
Thanks for any additional input.

How much space are you after? how much bandwidth are you using now? and how much have you budgeted for this?
You probably wont find an unlimited Host that will actually live up to there side of the bargain.

Regardless of what's advertised, there's no such thing as unlimited anything. That being said, webhost4life offers unlimited bandwidth with their $5/month account.
