hi All

I want to Write an asp site for My friend for its Photography(Digital Photo) then he want to restrict access for his customer to access only their Directory and their photos and no access to others photo and directories.
my idea is using folders for each customer and each customer photo is in customer folder then with an ASP page he/she can access him/her photos and if he/she knows other's folder name or others photo name and path then he/she cant access to Others folder's and Pictures until login and after login he/she can access only to its folder.

sorry For Bad English

Sincerely

you must first create a login script and make one account for each user.
if you look in the ASP application section of this site, there is a sample application in there.

after the users have logged in, you need to check what username/userid they are logged in as and thn load the data based on that info.

hope this helped a bit..

If you want to protect whole directorys try enablind Windows Authentication... Then create a user account for each person, this can be done programmatically.
