My ISP requires a DNS less connection.  Does anyone know how to modify the NEWS and POLLS applications to accomplish this task?  Thanks in advance.

IIRC, they are dsnless by default. You have to edit the common.asp file to make them use a dsn, Check the common.asp files for the section on setting up the connection. Should be several options there.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.

You just change the connection string from something like DSN=xxx to a connection string. You can get a DSN less connection string from www.connectionstrings.com
