I have two different domains running ver. 7.8.  I noticed that the title text will be persistant depending on which web site was last updated in the admin section.

Try it:

http://www.bmxtech.com

http://www.sanmarcospolitics.com

I see the BMX tech title (internet explorer) at the top regardless of which forum I visit.

Your sites must be running on the same server under the same application.

Either make sure that each site is running in it's own application (this is something your host would need to do), or disable the use of application variables by eidting the file common.asp using a text editor.

boRg,  Yes, they both run on the same server within the same application.  That I can't change.

If I disable application variables will any functionality be affected?

Also, you didn't say HOW to disable application variables inside the common.asp file.

If you disable application level variables it will run just slightly slower.

Edit the file common.asp in notepad and change:-

blnUseApplicationVariables = true

To false.

Also you will need to dsiable the active users feature from the admin area, under the forum configuration page.

boRg, the performance hit was not too bad so I will leave the setting at false.  Maybe when there are some visitors it will be more affected, but I welcome that :-)

Thanks again for your help.
