i locked my forum for mainatance to download db and conevert to sql

now whan i am tryin to open the forum it dont allow me its alweys keep tellin me forum closed page . i cant even go to admin section

help needed urgent

nothing in documentation  about that

but i found out how to fix it

ill post it here so ppl who got same problem can use this to be unlocked (dunno maybe somone alredy post that )

go to admin folder open common.asp and terminate the code that says only admins can view the admin section than u can go to the page in admin section to unlock the forums :P

How are you trying to go to the admin section. You should be able to get there by ..../forum/admin/default.asp

The docs for how to get back into admin once you lock the forum are on the page where you lock the forum.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
