In apache you can write /example/example.jpg > /example/example.aspx to redirect a dynamic image to a script.

Can you do this in ASP.net without server access?

actually no, asp.net is a server side lanugage so you cannot do nothing without server access, but there are client side solutions which you can find via google.

I think he means that he cannot havce physical access to the server to run any commands but he can run scripts.
