Hi!
I got two copies of the access version el WWF.
One is under http://www.grupofn.com/codforum and the other is under http://www.grupofn.com/webforos
The probles is the when you jump from one to the other logo pic will not chage, for example if you jump from codforum to webforos you'll see codforum pic iwhere webforos pic should be.
Also, I see that the online users are the same for both.
How can I correct this?
Tnx!!

this is because you have appliocation veriables enabled on both forums, and they are in the same application pool so they keep updating the details from one forum to the other. the details are stored in application vriables.

to fix this you need to turn off application veriables in one of the forums from the common.asp file..

Application variables are used to give the forum better performance as less database hits are required.

On the forum you turn off application variables you will get slightly less performance and won't be able to use active users.

One way around this is to run one of the forums in a sub domain, usually web hosts will give you an application poll for each sub domain you run.

I use two sub domains on the same server space and still got the same pool I believe, the two forums interact with each other still anyway. I've had to turn off the application variables. Having seen some of the press here about 1and1 and having just signed up with them, looks like I may have made a mistake.

Most hosts usually give you a different application pool for each sub domain, looks like 1&1 isn't one of them.
