Hi boRg, thanks a million for your reply.
Yes, I'm using the latest Access version. There are currently just over 200,000 posts.
Do you think it would be easy to set up the MS SQL Server version, as I
have no experience with it? Would it be possible to keep the data from
the Access version? This is the what it says on my host's website
regarding MS SQL
--------
Using
MS SQL Server Databases:
Microsoft SQL Server
is a high performance database which can be used in place of Access databases
for your websites.
MS SQL Server databases can be used in your ASP/Perl/iHTML scripts through the
use of an ODBC datasource.
Note: You will
need a good understanding of MSSQL in order to use an MSSQL database on your
website. Although Streamline provides the service, we do not provide consultancy
on setting up your database free of charge.
If you have not
already installed the MS SQL Database you can do so by going to Hosting Upgrades.

Do you think that if I batch deleted all the old messages in my Access forum, it might resolve the problem?
Thanks so much, I really appreciate your help.
