Hi there,
 
I have been trying to implement a compact and repair script for a db I need to reset autonumbers on.  I have seen previous threads and tried the free samples, I have even tried to doctor the webwiz version for the forum but I get permission errors.  I have setup the pages and db with full permission on the webserver but this has no effect.  Any suggestions.

compact and repair will not reset the autonumber fields.

To do this you need to delete the field and then re create it.
