for staters what application are you refering to?

ussually its in the root folder of the application you have downloaded

for example if it is the forum it is in the forum folder

mail list application , in the maillist folder

I have gone through every folder on the site and nope cant find one

what application are you using?

please also note you should post in the support forums, also make sure you downloaded the SQL version of the application.

IIRC, the directions say something about how you should delete the file after you've run it and set up you data base. Perhaps that's what you did? Try downloading 7.9 and checking the change log. I don't think there were any changes to it between 7.8 and 7.9.

Lead me not into temptation... I know the short cut, follow me.
