Wow, I've been working on/off for this thing for about 3 years.  Coming to an end finally soon, I'm very excited.

It's a Massivly mutliplayer online game.  Text based stratergy.

Set in WWII.  Two teams, Allies and Axis.  You join the team of your choice, build factories, cities, create production and supply lines and engage in war!

Battles can rage between 2 or more people for days on end.  Setting up supply lines is essential.

It also has a good political structure to it.  You can vote for supereme commanders on each team, who co-ordinate huge attacks to conquer continents.  There are also team ministers who help co-ordinate the flow of resources and military strength.

Team work is essential, massive co-ordinated bombing raids are effective.  Sending troops to defend other people.  Setting up constant artillery barages on enemy cities.

You can take different research routes.  Some people may want to be more efficient in spying and sabotage, whilst others may take the route of brute force, or ranged warfare.

You can plant false intelligence into enemy hands, launch propoganda campaigns to boost your populations morale.

POW's can be captured.  They cost food to keep alive.  You can negotiate the trading of POW's.

Lots of units to choose from!  Avitation, naval, infantry, special ops, tanks, rockets, bombs you name it.

Some screenshots:

This is just the basic game design and layout.  Sort of dust, old but clean look to suit the era.

This shows how far your team has progressed in their main objective, to conquer the world!  That map was a bitch to make, about 70 images.  If I knew flash it would of been easier :P

I also play at http://www.diplomacy.ca. Kicks butt! I love Diplomacy. Does anyone else play?

Anyways, war is fun when it's a game. Don't forget the URL!

Hehe, it's a work in progress, nearly done though.  Next month or two.  It's a big thing to make.

I like lots of other ones out there, but not many of them in my opinion are good enough, so I thought I'd give it a go!  Not enough are team orientated either, with a mix of politics and action.

Anyone played the board game Risk?
Anyone played the computer game (very old) 'Empire'?

It's going to be like a mix between those, but with hundreds of players and in  a lot more depth.

That looks really good. Before I read the last post I kinda thought it looks like Risk. Risk rocks, don't really dig those kind of online games but nevertheless, it does look very nice.
