    Posted: 03 May 2005 at 5:41pm

I have a problem.

I have my web site on server in different country with different Time Zone. Also in database I changed the Guest Username from Guests (in tblAuthor) to sth else.

Even though I have timeset set to wanted number, forum does not display the right time of posts. It displays time of the server, and not corrected time. Is there any way to get around this problem?

Does forum all the unlogged visitors treat as Guests and if so, why the time for them is not also corrected as for registered logged in users. Is there something wrong, because of the fact I changed the Guest user name to sth else?

to offset the time you need to offset the NOW() in the date_time functions file in the includes file

the last section at the bottom.. (last function) .. also the dtmservertime within the register.asp file

this link should help:
http://forums.webwiz.net/forum_posts.asp?TID=14883&PN=2

just replace the file "date_time_functions.asp" with the one provided and change the time where it stats
