I am having problems with VPN on my computer. I am using Windows XP Professional Edition. I uninstalled the McAfee Firewall from my computer.  Please look at the screen shot of the error message that I get when I connect to the VPN. I am successfully connected to the VPN. But it always disconnects after about 4 minutes. I need it to be reliable. I don't get the below error message on my laptop at all. But the VPN disconnects after about 4 minutes on my laptop too. Has anyone ever had this problem before?  Does anyone know how I might be able to solve this problem?

Are you running a Novell network?  If not go into the properties of your NIC and remove IPX/SPX from the protocols used.  If you are using IPX/SPX on your network then I do not know what to do to remedy the problem. Have you tried accepting the warning?

Is the XP Pro the client or the host?

If it is the host then I dont think it support IPX on a VPN. Try changing it to TCP only. << That is proberly wrong. Confused
