Hi Mark,

Generally, if you would only need to point to something like www.mydomain.com/forum if that is your forum directory. Your host should recognize default.htm and default.asp as default documents. If you get an error please post and we can try to help.

The direct link to the forum would be www.mydomain.com/forum/default.asp if you want.

Did you go into forum/common.asp (before uploading) and change the path to do you database in either line 176 or line 178 to reflect the location of your database?

The error suggests a corrupted database or file, try deleting all the files and reuploading again.

No I am still stuck? I changed the common file then uploaded it again but it can't find the page? I have change this.....

'--------------------- Set the path and name of the database --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

strDbPathAndName = "http://www.my address/admin/wwForum.mdb"

'BRINKSTER USERS
'Brinkster users remove the ' single quote mark from infront of the line below and replace USERNAME with your Brinkster uersname

'strDbPathAndName = "/USERNAME/db/wwForum.mdb"

Have I put the right address in or should it still end my address /forum  ?? Cheers for any help. Mark
