i am currently making an online editable media player but i ran into a problem i keep getting this erorr. 
 
Microsoft VBScript compilation error '800a0401' 
Expected end of statement 
/testing/mediaplayer/Mediaplayer.asp, line 32 
var streams = new Array();
-----------------------^
 
i get that from this code what should id o to fix it?
 
var streams = new Array();
in bold red is the error line

YOEW... that was way more complicated than I think it needed to be.

var streams = new Array();
It seems like JavaScript sytax instead of VB... ??

ok i encased it in <script language="javascript"></script> and it now shows and the first song starts to play. but now my buttons dont work and my dropdown box doesnt show my songs selections.Cry

Just rewrite the array declaration for VB instead of adding the js tags.
 
Dim streams()
 
streams = Array(recordset)

You're  getting a problem with the delimeters. i know jack about streams, but check your syntax.... the " is what's killing it...

i think that 2nd bracket closes the one opened just before the 'r'...
