The Web Wiz CAPTCHA security image software to protect web forms and logins from spammers and hackers has been improved, thanks to feedback from users.

We have been listening to you and making a few improvements to Web Wiz CAPTCHA which now includes:-
  • Image Reload Button, to reload image if unreadable
  • New codes and styles added
  • Hard to read styles and codes removed
The Web Wiz CAPTCHA software has been designed as a simple to implement solution that generates a security code in image format to use within web forms. The user is then required to accurately enter the code shown in the image into a textarea within the form.

The idea is that because the security code in the image can not be read by OCR software that it will prevent spammers and hackers from using bots and remote form submission to submit data to your site.

Features of the Web Wiz CAPTCHA software includes:-

  • Security Code Images produced on the fly
  • 100% ASP, no DLL's or Active X required
  • Simple and secure way to protect your web forms from spammers and hackers
  • Security code can not be read by OCR software or bots
  • 100's of different styles and codes produced by the software
  • Simple to setup and integration
  • Full source code commented on each line
  • Well structured and commented code for modification, integration, and learning

Can earlier versions, also those implemented in other aps, be upgraded by just overwriting existing files?

Yes they can do, if you don't want the new 'Reload Code' fetaure, you can just simple replace the CAPTCHA_image.asp file to get the new improved codes and styles.
