Forum homepage very slow to load (SQL)

I have recently upgraded my Access database to SQL. I have a very reliable host. For the most part the forum runs very fast except for the homepage which is located here http://www.kleenkuip.com/forum
 
I recently added a mod which shows the latest posts. But even before this mod was added the forum homepage still loaded very slowly. Anywhere from 5-20 seconds.
 
Any ideas or solutions?

You do have quite allot of forums on the homepage.

In version 7.x 4 to 5 database quires need to be run for each forum; on your forum with 19 forums this means 19*5=75 database quires.

This has been looked into for version 8, which now only runs 1 query to get all the data, no matter how many forums, sub forums, etc. you have. Which improves the speed to around 0.06 of a second processing time.

Yes...I asked my provider and they did mention that it was a coding issue. And all my users are complaining how slow the main page is.
 
Question:
 
When is version 8 going to be released? Does it include Google ads? How much to purchase the forum in Canadian Funds? If this is going to solve the slowness problem and the software is a reasonable price I would definetely consider purchasing.
