help pls im a noob here
 
i just wanna ask how can i install IIS WITHOUT USING THE WINDOWS xp CD OR FLOPPY DISKETTE OR NETWORK cause  my cd drive and floppy drive are not working

copy the setup files in a USB flash memory... using ur friends pc.. then use the flash drive to install IIS

thanks for all the replies but i dont have a flash drive and the setup files in of windows in my hard drive was already deleted when i used the disk clean up, is there a link where i can install the IIS version 5.1 cause i really nid it

Sounds like you dont even own a copy of windows and are trying to get a boot leg copy.

The only way to install IS is to use a valid Windows CD. You can not download it anywhere as that would be against the law!

If you really need it you would be a serious web developer, in which case one would hope you have a working cd drive or at least the internet.

Also the windows disk cleanup tool will not remove the i386 install folder if it was already there.

You are talking crap.

If you don't have a legal copy of Windows at least learn where to get on illegally.

Or just use Linux, which is free, and has better webservers anyway
