Topic: Leaky Ceiling, Roaches, Flooding & More Ohh Joy. Posted: 28 June 2006 at 11:04am |
Hey Folks, Many of you know me. I've been on these forums for years. For the last three years I have lived with my wife in a one bedroom apartment at Oxford Grant, Penndel PA. Since living there I have undergone a significant number of difficulties, far beyond anything any resident should reasonably expect. This includes multiple floodings, cockroach infestations, fly infestations, maggot infestations, leaky ceiling. This is not to mention the general uncleanliness of the entire complex (lots of garbage), failure to maintain (partial repairs, no cleaning of common areas), and etc. I have taken this to the oversight many times. Tonight the roof caved in on the third floor because the gutters were plugged full (why weren't these being cleaned). I awoke at 3 a.m. to water dripping onto my bed. Its still dripping. I had to assist the maintenance fellow in unjamming the gutters because he was the only individual out to deal with it. I am sick of this. I have tried to deal with the management, so now I am taking my case to the web. I would appreciate your support. I've created a blog about it at: http://oxfordgrantterrors.blogspot.com and have also submitted the story to Digg. I would appreciate your diggs as well as your forwarding this to anyone you might know who might make a little noise about this situation. Thanks. Respectfully, David Mackey.

Thanks for the digg. Yeah, we are working on moving. Things are very expensive in this area. Even if we move many others will be left behind who are working jobs that won't ever allow them to move out. I did this more b/c I wanted to see something change for the complex as a whole than just me personally. David.
