I mean..

I've 500.000 registered users in my site.
I've installed web wix forum in my dedicated server, i want to import the registered users of my site into web wiz forums.

There are two solutions:

1) Import users in the web wiz forum database

2) Add some columns in the users table in the database of my site and target the web wiz forum on my database.

There are some user id (login) that have some special chars like ()[]|_-^\'.
Does web wiz forum accept these chars?
How can i do this import/export of data?

The db of my site is on MS SQL Express edition.

Pier.

There is a built in existing member API.

If you edit the file functions/functions_member_API.asp in notepad it gives you instructions on how to use this feature and how to enable it.

Borg, what if I wanted my entire site's membership system to depend on the wwf system? Like if a user registers to use the forum s/he automatically have access to other register-must areas of the site?

I'd really like such thing as there are many scripts i run on my sites and they all have their own registeration systems... which is really not a good idea...you wouldn't want a user to register to more than one members' systems to use all of your sites areas.

It probally wouldn't be to hard to write such a thing, I've already moved the login and tracking system into the function in the functions_login.asp file inorder to make this type of thing simpler.
