A security error has occurred with authentication.

Please ensure that all cookies are enabled on your web browser, you are not using a saved or cached copy of the page, and your Firewall/Proxy settings are not hiding or masking your IP address.
Cleared cache, cookies, files, restarted browser.   Still no admin. Thx  cm

Make sure that you're not behind a proxy... or try disabling your firewall and see if it works. If not then try a different browser like Mozilla Firefox...

The probably is not a blocked port, the problem is probably:

1) cookies not enabled or are corrupt. Clear your cookies, make sure they are enabled, and try again.

2) you have a program or firewall that is blocking cookies.

3) your server is not saving sessions correctly causing you to lose your session and all permissions.

4) your not logged in :P

I've checked all the simple stuff, it is either server side, or my new DSL router (or the Symantec SW firewall).  What exactly is the security check testing for?

POSSIBLE BUG
 
If I edit the users email, and admin notes through Edit profile. I have NO SECURITY ISSUES as noted in post #1 above.  
 
Edit Profile  (All good)
Make changes to your profile and forum preferences

 
If I edit through this link below, the security validation fails. This occurred in the SAME login session. 
 
Registration Details (Security failure)
Make changes to your login password and/or email address.
