On the default page, there's no link to the admin page login and you have to manually key in the URL to get to it. I'm guessing this is by design as you wouldn't want non-admins seeing the link (even if they couldn't log in)? It just feels a bit "odd" not being able to click on a link to get to it like you do in the forum.

The admin link in the forum only appears when you log into the forum as the admin.

In the NewsPad software you don't log into the front end as the admin and for security reasons you wouldn't want a link displayed to all users directing them to the admin login page and would also look a bit un-professional having an 'Admin Login' link on your public pages.

Instead you would need to type admin.asp into your browser to get to the admin login page.

Cool, I thought that would be the answer. Totally agree with it too.
 
Just a small thought, in v9 of WWF, could there be a configuration field that holds the path to Newspad. If the field is filled in and a check performed to ensure it exists, then a link to the Newspad admin page is added to the Navigations links for forum Admins only? Just an idea for something "nice" but not essential.
