Hello I'm using ASP VB6 and I have a project to create a HP PCL5e file on the server from informaion input online.

Basically, I am trying to replicate the process where I print a mail merge to a file client-side using an appropriate printer driver and then upload this.  I want to do this process server-side to save time and to eliminate the requirement to install print-drivers etc.

Can I do the above without purchasing a component (I have external hosting and could have a print-driver installed on the server; how do I then control this so as to create a file?)?

Thanks in advance for any tips etc.
