Hello,

On my install of the forums I cannot open the drop list for font or size.  Additionally I cannot set the text forecolor.

When in Firebug I get an error "uncaught exception: Permission denied to set property Window.command"

when running IE 7 I get "Permission Denied" on line 75.

Any help would be great.  As a side note these function work correctly on this editor window.

The version const in my set up file is "4.0wwf"

Usually these types of errors occur when you try to make a javascript call to another domain.

This could be due to the way you have your forum setup, if you are using IFrames, Frames, or have some other unusual setup for connecting to your forum it can course these types of errors.

I have the board installed in a sub folder of a main site.  I host it at my house and I have a dynamic IP which I use a custom dyndns to resolve the url.  I had version 7 of the board which worked fine, but I could not get any forum support so I was forced to upgrade.  Do you know what I need to do to get this corrected?

Thanks  for your help.

Try connecting directly to the forum with whatever IP you currently have for it and see if the problem is still there. This should help workout if it is something to do with your dynamic DNS.

Better still if you can ask your ISP for a static IP, many do these for free or only charge a few $$ per year.

I remoted into the server and opened the editor using localhost and the editor worked correctly.  Is there some kind of configuration change I can make to have this work appropriately?

I appreciate the static ip advice.
