On my forum, I have 5-6 different level member name status, and if one of them want to post a new post into the closed section, then automaticly lost his dedicated status and become a newbie and then lost his unlimited access...what to do? v. is 9.50!

Hey alx
Sometimes it helps if peeps can actually see your forum too. Example - I click on your profile then homepage, then nothing there, so it makes it difficult to answer the question you ask. As far as I can see, there should be no reason why users lose their membership status unless you set up something wrong in the first place

..there is no link to the forum, because this is a closed forum with ''sensitive'' info...I hope you know, what I mean...and there is nothing wrong with setings, because this in not happening every time and to every member and not with every member status...I think, there is some mistake or a bug in a programme script...
sorry for my bad english

I understand that your forum may contain sensitive data, and therefore you do not want all and sundry accessing it. I personally cannot see there being an issue with the software, but Bruce would know a lot more than I If you have set up the correct permissions for each member then there should be NO reason why they default to another member status. Perhaps you should consider having a PASSWORD protected forum thread where only certain members with the password can enter, regardless of their membership status Hope that helps but if not, and you have paid for the software, you can always open a support ticket

For future similar problems - everything is in Ladder System! If you have more Group name in your forum and if this group is in this system and if you as admin promote a member to higher level without enough post, then he/she is automaticly return to the appropriate group as settled in control panel!
I hope this is ''understandable'' written?!

That is the point of a Ladder system. The user will move up the groups when they have enough posts. If you do not want this to happen then simply change the higher groups to be non-ladder groups. This will mean people will not be automatically promoted and demoted by the system. They will only be promoted/demoted when an admin changes their group, regardless to how many or few posts they have.
