I am having a problem upgrading from a version 7 access version of the web wiz software to the newest version SQL version. I have the forum working with SQL with a blank DB, but I would like to add info from the previous version to the new forum.

I am trying to use the upsize tool in access. Is there another way?

You should need to upgrade your present 7.x Access database to a 9.x database using the database upgrade tools that come with Web Wiz Forums.

You then need to use the upsize wizard in Access to upsize the Access database to SQL Server. The best results I have had have been with the Access 2007 upsize tool and have upsized many Web Wiz Forums databases using this tool without issue.

Hey there Bruce! Good to see you here on the intarweb. We spoke at length on the phone yesterday and the day before.

I did get the forum working (for the most part). For one reason or another I am receiving an error when trying to make new posts though. Here is the error...

Invalid use of Null: 'CLng'

/forum/forum_posts.asp, line 856



Does this mean anything to you?
