Error and then.... reset?

Hello all,
 
I hope you can help me.  I just downloaded the free version to try it out.  However, everytime I make an update to the config or any other admin feature, I get a server error as soon as I click on the "update" button.
 
Then, after about 10 minutes, I can log back in and go through the same cycle again.  Is this a problem with my host's servers? Or something else I am doing wrong.
 
Thanks in advance for any suggestions --

Here's the error message:
 

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

I am not sure what you are stating. Where did you find this update button?

Please describe your actions and the full error.

If you disable friendly HTTP error messages in IE you will get a detailed error message which will tell us exactly what the issue is.
