Today is 1. october, for posts from yesterday is date 30. september not "Yesterday".

This is correct. The date is shown as the date instead of 'Yesterday' when the month rolls over to the 1st of the next month.

When the 'Yesterday' and 'Today' system of dates was introduced many days were spent on this to get 'Yesterday' to show as the date when it rolled over to the 1st of the next month, however due to the calendar system with it's different number of days to each month as well as leap years it was found to difficult to program without 100's of lines of extra code which would adversely effect performance.
