We have a paid copy of WWF (Access version) and want to upgrade from 9.06 to the latest version. Is there a post on how to do this? Thanks.

John,
If you have this version and you still haven't passed your Year of Free upgrades. all you have to do is download the free version again and install it to your server and incorporate the the new updated files into the older version. and it should update for you.. Be sure to back up all your files before you do this.. Since there is not major change to your Database, you will not need to do a database upgrade as they are no major version changes such as 8.0 to 9.0.

So just copy the new files to our web site and overwrite the existing ones? Anything else?

Thank you for responding.

Obviously make sure you do not overwrite your existing database with the blank one Wink
As Putz says the best practice for upgrades any version after 9 is as follows:

1. Download the latest version that matches your current specs
2. BACKUP all of your existing forum files just in case
3. If access version DO NOT upload a new database
4. Make sure you copy across your database connection details into your database_connection.asp file
5. DO NOT run the database upgrade tools if this is any version after version 9
6. Delete from your server the existing forum files (except your database)
7. Upload the new files and you should be good to go
