I had Google Adsense working on my Web Wiz forum for about a week and a half located here:

Well I recently got my account disabled and recieved this email:

While going through our records recently, we found that your AdSense
account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers. Since
keeping your account in our publisher network may financially damage
our advertisers in the future, we've decided to disable your account.

Then I appealed and recieved this email:

Thanks for providing us with additional information. However, after
thoroughly reviewing your account data and taking your feedback into
consideration, we've re-confirmed that your account poses a significant
risk to our advertisers. For this reason, we're unable to reinstate your
account. Thank you for your understanding.

Has anybody else using Web Wiz Forums experienced this?  I followed all of the rules and for the life of me do not understand why my account has now been permanently disabled.

Thanks,
slappyJ

This will not be an issue because of the forum software. Having quickly surveyed your site, the actual topics appear quite normal so I'm preplexed as to why Google would disable your account

Have you asked them to clarify why they feel your forum "posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers" as my initial reaction would be like yours wondering why

But I can assure you that this has absolutely nothing to do with the software

how could that be related with the CMS you are using? I'd rather check the logs and try to explain the Google guys you did nothing wrong.
Good luck with the last one

I looked on the Google Adsense Account Disabled help page for answers and it suggested that I look through my logfiles for any suspicious activity...my internet provider uses 'Urchin' to view logfiles...

does anybody know exactly what I should be looking for in the logfiles?

The only other thing I can think of is that I visited a few advertiser links so that I could fill in the 'Competitive Ads' page so I could add them to the list as many advertisers were displaying ads relevant to my products therefore possibly losing sales.

I just wish that Google let me know the exact reason why they disabled my account.

Web Wiz Forums comes with Google Adsense support built in, we also used to have our own Google Ads in all the free editions and never had any issues.

It does sound though that the problem is you clicked on your own ads. This is a big 'no no' with Google and is probably why they suspended your account. If you look through the help page on the competitive ad filter in Google it tells you how to get the ad domain without clicking the ads.

Perhaps you could explain that you just screwed up and beg humble forgiveness?
